Stewart is President of Truebridge Financial Marketing. Through his roles in sales, marketing, and senior management, he has led the growth of leading brands including Paine Weber, McCann Erickson, Citicorp and Fidelity Investments. Today his focus is on helping banks and credit unions make significant improvements to their bottom line profitability through more efficient and effective customer acquisition, cross-selling and retention.
Stewart was Founder, President & CEO of KFS Financial, a company that used technology and central location to lower the cost of acquisition so banks could profitably serve more of the financial needs of a broader base of their customers. As Chief Marketing Officer for Fidelity Institutional Services Group, Stewart formed and managed the internal Fidelity Strategic Marketing Group that helped financial institutions significantly improve their share of wallet by leading the development and implementation of successful cross-selling strategies. Earlier, Stewart was Managing Director for Citicorp’s Trust and Private Banking unit. There he managed the High Net Worth Unit in charge of building and executing a strategy that integrated marketing and sales efforts across several of Citicorp’s internal channels, including trust, private banking and the retail branches. As V.P. of Marketing for Citicorp’s credit card unit, he initiated brand-building network TV campaigns and pioneered new cost effective customer acquisition techniques. Stewart was a Senior Account Executive at the advertising firm of McCann Erickson in charge of the American Express, Shearson and Sony accounts. His early career was in sales for Paine Webber and Dean Witter. Stewart holds an A.B. in Economics from the University of Kansas.
Stewart spent much of his early childhood in Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile. When his family moved back to the US, he spent several years in Chappaqua, New York before moving to South Bend, Indiana where his father turned 98 in 2014. Stewart has three children, the youngest graduating from college in 2014. He lives in the town of Duxbury MA, which is 35 miles south of the Truebridge Boston offices. His interests include fishing, golf, sailing and skiing.
Bryan is managing partner of Jamestown Associates, LLC, a boutique finserv and fintech company. Most recently he was Director of Strategic Initiatives at StrategyCorps, and remains an advisor to them. Prior to that he was the CMO and investor at Geezeo, a fintech that sold to Jack Henry & Associates in 2019.
Bryan’s banking experience includes New Jersey’s Affinity Federal Credit Union, where he served as vice president of marketing and e-commerce, Summit Bank where he worked in marketing and product management and CoreStates Financial Corp., where he managed the corporate and retail marketing function for the 88 branches of the New Jersey subsidiary.
Bryan holds an undergraduate degree in business and marketing, has completed graduate studies at Rutgers and is a Six Sigma professional. In addition to being a globally known fintech influencer, he has spoken at events nationwide and has work published in a variety of publications. He has been a presenter for numerous financial services associations, American Banker, CUES, NAFCU, The American Bankers Association, and several technology firm client conferences. He is currently Chairman of The Center for Child and Family Services. Bryan is also on the Advisory Board of Procurity, a Fintech TaaS firm based in Denver and BLIP, a fintech based in Philadelphia.
